“I’ve read many versions of Macbeth, as it’s in the top 3 of my favourite Shakespeare plays. At first, I wasn’t sure it would work adapted into a graphic novel, but this book seamlessly blends the Shakespearean tragedy with captivating visuals. The artwork really captures the play's dark mood, which gave me a new connection to the characters. Seriously, my imagination ran wild and at points I felt as though I had been drawn into the book and was experiencing the story as a character observing as it unfolded.
I won’t go into the full recap of Macbeth because if you’ve read it before, you’ll want to read this version for a different perspective. But if you’ve never read the play, read this book! It’s an immersive experience, second only to visiting the Globe and seeing it in person.”
